my 2012

FIRST QUARTER
January NEW YEAR, NEW ME!
January 1- i had a feeling na magiging busog na busog ang  2012. January1st, 12:01am, nasa work ako... malas lang. Junior Nurse e. so duty ng new year.

muka lang kaming happy, pero naninibugho ang aming damdamin at gusto namin maglupasay. we all wanted to go home but filemon left us with no choice. some may say  it's 'OBLIGASYON', we call it DEDICATION. nax!

Anyway, tama na ang pagiging emotera. super excited ako mag 2012 kasi nga, in january, natuloy ang cebu-bohol trip namin... it was phenomenal... (wahahaha, may msabi lang).. actually, it really was. very memorable. Kung baga sa PBA, game turning point sa buhay ko. first time namin magbonding na tatlo nila mama and papa. i'm not sharing photos here. just check my posts about cebu and bohol. halatang excited ako dun... obvious na obvious. haha.

January pa lang busog na. yipeeh!

FEBRUARY-love month <3

February 11th. hot air balloon with tree top adventure.
original plan, it's all original pay 2 staff lakad. import lang ako., hahaha. kaso, madaming ngyri, at hindi ko alam kung panong kmi ni mam cy&sir sherwin, mama and papa ang ntuloy. nanira pa ata ako ng date nila. hahaha. anyway. it was fun.
we arrived at exactly 6am. pero mukhang late na kami. :) we were like a kilometer away from the balloons.
Tree Top BAby!
before

just before take off haha. BP: 160/120; CR, 1,000bpm, RR 0cpm, hypotensive, cold clammy, pallor.

after. i almost died.. putek. nanlambot ako.

Love month isnt over yet. a date with BB on valentine's day is a must. we had dinner sa almost weekly namin binibisitang mall. walang picture picture. sobrang nagmamadali sya. I know most of you think its super korni. balentayns eh! pero there's something different with valentine's day. for sure, people call hearts' day for a reason. bsta, hindi mo ako magegets unless you're not married or in a rel.

a couple of days after valentine's, o got the chance to see Mariel Rodriguez. ang babaw pero basta gusto ko siya makita. so when tita asked me to join them sa Wiltime Bigtime, pumayag na ako. :)

And, another super memorable moment was when i finally met my all time favorite NINA. a night spent at Metrobar, west ave with mam ELY. STAY ALIVE CONCERT WITH NINA!!!  hindi ko akalaing gnon sya kaganda, and ganon kaputi kili kili niya. hahaha. sobrang nagenjoy ako but not in the next 2 days kasi ang tindi ng hangover. head ache with pain scale of 10/10. but i had fun. 10/10 din. :)

istarstrak!

through the fiiiiiirrrrrreeee! yeah yeah oohhh,, woohoooooo.

March is finally over. buong march, nagtrabaho lang ako... ang daming overtime.
April na. walang march. korni noh? hahaha. so i guess, i'll share a photo at work na lang.

april first/fools' day. a couple of  'fools' went to tagaytay. we were so disapointed. lalo na si BB! anong meron sa picnic grove and palace in the sky?! i didnt think na ganon na sila. the only thing na naenjoy ko was the view ng TAAL lake. if only we were brave enough to trek. i know for sure, the view from the summit is breathtaking.

hon, may future ka sa photography. :)

Buti na lang, malakas pa ang convincing powers ko. it was a tiring 45 minute jeepney ride para marating ang Caleruega in Nasugbu. Super Ganda. dami naming pics. hahaha. it was indeed a sweet escape! :)
not surprised, it's on top of every couple's list kung saan nila gusto ikasal. Unquestionably perfect for prenups and weddings! :)

April 29, it's time for me to get Tan Lines, Baby!! hahaha. check out my
Ambon Ambon Trip.
It was a fun and great way to end April.. Come May 1, Avengers time!!!!
more of my lakads to be posted here.. one of the very few reasons why i love my profession is I have no reports to make at home, no deadlines to meet, and i can just listen to 'the lazy song' all day. pag off, off talaga. walang trabaho sa bahay. so i guess, with that, mauupdate ko tong blog na to... :)

Ambon AMbon Falls, Pangil, Laguna

One of the featured budget friendly resorts in Ang Pinaka, (Chan 11), was Ambon Ambon Falls in Pangil Laguna. I immediately googled the abovementioned Resort and i was surprised na SUPER BUDGET FRIENDLY TALAGA. my guide was tutubi, a blogger I follow kasi mas detailed and directions papunta dun.

The Prep:

The Night Before.
  • How to Get There:HM Bus at Cubao (Terminal located at the back of Mang Inasal Along EDSA) bound to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Bus Fare as of April 29, 2012, P148.50 only. Approx. 2hours.
  •  Pagbaba dun, ipapara nila kayo ng Jeep to Siniloan. An hour Jeepney Ride. :)
Pangil Eco park Rates:
pretty cheap huh?
Around P300-P400 for cottages and P300.00 for tent rentals..
And as other bloggers would tell you, yung trekking fee is P60/pax for a minimum of 6. per batch ang trekking so kung hindi kayo 6, (parang kaming dalawa ni mama), bbyaran niyo pa din yung P360. hindi rin naman mabigat yung P360 di ba? :)
As you enter, you will pass by a hanging bridge.that time, under renovation daw. i love hanging bridges kaso nga, ginagwa kaya hindi masyadong maganda. isa pa, ang daming tao na gustong magpapicture dun. and then the Pavilion kung saan madaming tables. almost occupied na buong pavilion kaya, sure na ako na hindi kami doon mappwesto.
Then the restrooms.

We looked for a place to build our tent. it was Ate Medy who built our tent. in less than 5 minutes, ayos na. first time ko makakita ng nagtatayo ng tent. sus, sisiw lang pala.

And then, eto na!!
P300 tent rental. want to sawa na daw. :)
Lunch muna. syempre, Mama's famous Chicken Adobo pa din. This time, samahan mo ng nilagang itlog. :)
we rested for 30 minutes, tpos we decided to trek na. buti nasabay kami s 4 na magkakaibigan. sakto, 6 na!! gustong gusto ko na mgtrek kasi ayoko masabay sa 1 group na halos lasing na yung iba...Good thing sa kanila kami nasabay. :) sorry pero i'll share a bunch of pics. ang ganda kasi dun... :)

i's like a 30 minute trek. for a beginner like me, rate ko sya ng 1/10 when it comes to difficulty. yabang!! hahaha. siguro, 30minutes lang naman. at hindi masyadong matarik... And now, I guess I'll let the photos tell you what actually happened. :)
I guess, Iam now ready to trek

a reminder for us to be extra careful. :)

falling in love with Green Green Green!!!

That's Kuya joel (our guide). the one wearing blue and mala Mayor na shorts. :)
I recommend Kuya Joel. hanapin niyo lang siya. We want to help him since he said, volunteer lang sya and is given P150 per day as allowance. Don't forget to give him tip na lang. :)
tutubi. i saw 3 different colors of tutubi. :)

excited magswimming!!

It'snot about how far you've gone, but how much you've learned because of the people you meet. :)
We're thankful to them (MAriel, Jon, Joy and her BF) kasi nakatipid kami since we paid P60 each for the trek. hehehe
Three Balsa Rides Before we reach Ambon Ambon.

almost there.. i can see ambon ambon falls na!!!

back massage. MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES.
bubble pool as i get BIGOTEfied.

yeeeeeh!!
mama as she gets towed.

Coke nlng, coke float na! :)

I'd rather swim and refused to ride a balsa again on our way back.

can't get enough of it's crystal clear water. :)
GOD! ganyan kadami ang tao!!!
30minutes of trekking, 30minutes of enjoying the "Talon", we went back to camp site. we dipped our legs for a few minutes sa ilog kaso i felt like may period na ko. so i immediately rushed to shower room. nagbanlaw na, then umuwi na. ;)

I guess, it's going to be my signature shot. i did this in Baguio, Bohol, Cebu, etc..

finally, i had a decent pic at the hanging bridge. see the kiddie pool at the far right?

A few more photos at admin office before we leave..

As we went out of the park, there were several tricycle drivers waiting. kumikitng Kabuhayan sila kuya. This time, P30 na siningil sa amin. pumayag lang kami kasi medyo malayo nga. and dalawa naman kami. :)

Saying Grace before we leave Panguil

The kid in red is their Kampanero. cute niya habang "kinakalembang" yung Kalembang. hahaha. I thought kuba lahat ng gumagawa nun???

Siniloan, Siniloan, I keep coming Back to Siniloan. hahaha
Jeep ulit to Sta. Cruz, this time, we tried Greenstar Bus bound to Buendia/LRT. Bus Fare is almost the same. P140.00. On your way home, make sure you try TATA WOODS' buko tart. it's definitely a must try. :)
mainit init pa. :)

for just P10 pesos, ok ng pasalubong. sarap niya. you shouldnt miss this!
It was my first time to see a real "Falls". Sa books ko lng sya nakikita before just like Chocolate Hills. It may sound like a cliche but there are a million reasons why IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES. I'm planning to see and enjoy all the beautiful places dito sa Pinas. Not because I want to be a backpacker or a blogger who goes to a thousand places each year and write. I travel because when I do, I feel blessed. I feel so blessed na God made me A Filipino, na I live here in Pinas and I get to see these places and get Tan Lines foe LESS!!

Always Remember, we should never spend too much when travelling. Be practical. Be wise. And look for ways to save more.

Obvious naman na i fell in love with Ambon Ambon falls. so i'm thinking of going to Dahoyhoy in Quezon. :) Siguro not to soon, kasi ang daming tao for sure sa ngayon. :)

My bad. we brought bath soap kasi . i shouldve used alcohol na lang sana pra sa kamay ko. hahaha

i think it's time for us to Do something that really helps Mommy Earth. I'm glad i kept my promise. To leave nothing but footprints, to take nothing but pictures (lost and lots of pictures) and Kill nothing But time. Wow! Traveler na Traveler at Blogger na Blogger. (feeling lang). hahaha!
