Puerto Princesa-Elnido trip --kaarawan sa palawan! :)

the trip I've been waiting for for the past 6 months. I was thinking of traveling alone when I saw airphil's seat sale. That was the original plan. But I end up asking a few friends na magjoin. Natakot ako. Maybe next year I'd be that brave and travel alone.Tickets cost P1170 each. I didnt know what happened and I just receieved a message some time in January na 11 na daw kami. oha, from solo flight to 11! :) Kris's our master mind. 6months niya inayos ang itinerary namin and from time to time, we receive updates. sobrang sipag. 

I am extra excited since Birthday ko yun. and ofcourse, jumoin si BB. ♥ :)

At 5am, nasa Ayala na ako. it was raining cats and dogs, and elephants and bears. in short, may Bagyo! I was a bit worried. but then sabi ni Mama, "weh? sabi kaya sa radyo, walang ulan sa Palawan." i felt somewhat relieved.

 BB was alrealy at Ayala Mrt station waiting for Me. I didnt know na Naia was like 10 minutes away.

Sinong excited? HINDI AKO!!

Game 3 ng NBA finals. antok na ko while the boys, busy sa basketball. Kami ni Nat, we're  busy talking about.... sya na yun!

In 1hr and 10 minutes, we finally arrived at our final destination. sbi nga sa erplen.

Good News! walang signal ang Suncel. pareho pa namn kami ni BB. Basag! walang check in sa Facebook. lol. pero at the back of my mind, medyo happy din kasi, malayo sa stressful na mga texts and calls. 100%enjoy lang sa Birthday ko! :)

5 pax ang 1st batch. 5 kming 2nd batch. the day before we arrive, nag Dos Palmas na yung 5. it was actually my choice to remove Dos palmas from our itinerary. i wanted ppur, el nido and honda bay. atleast may babalikan pa ako sa Palawan di ba?

We stayed at Duyan Transient house owned by Pepito Donaire. He offers the cheapest package. we paid 7k for 3d2n, all in PP-ELnido tour with meals (except dinner). Mura noh? :) you can check on his FB page for more info. His place is one tumbling away from PP airport. Literal! 1 minute, andun ka na!

1st day was PPUR. a month ago, we sent copies of our Valid Id's and signature for permits. Ganun ba talaga? anyway, keribels lang.

first stop was Buenavista view deck.i'm still unsure if it's included in our itinerary or we stopped there para magCR. anyway, hindi ako msyado na amaze.ewan ko.parang tingin ko sa tagaytay lang. Wow sa standars ha! hahaha

Sabang Wharf's 45 minutes away from the city. Bundok ang pinuntahan at dinaanan namin. we had lunch sa Sabang. Eat all you can kaya napunan ang mga naghihimutok naming tyan! Kasama sa package ang lunch kaya kailngan sulitin.  and then we tried Tamilok. The uber yuckness, Uod like, tamilok. hahaha

from the wharf, boat ride naman for 30 minutes siguro. pag hinto ng bangka. WOW! ganda. Mukhang sinisimulan na kaming pasiklaban ng Palawan!

Noone knows how lucky we are to have PPUR. i felt so blessed nung nasa Loob ako kasi i was given a chance to see one of God's beautiful creations. Feeling ko sobrang lucky ko na napuntahan ko to! :)

I'm sharing a few photos taken inside the cave. Since jurasic ang cam ko, medyo pili lang ang matino. Karamihan, mukang kuha lang sa bahay namin nung brownout. Plus, I didnt took a lot of pics din kasi I wanted to enjoy na lang kesa maging busy kakakuha ng pics. and i know most of you have seen better images of PPUR.

 It was a about an hour boat ride. madaming trivia si kuya bangkero. kahit over seriousness ang voice niya, benta pa din samin. :)

after PPUR, Kris, cathzie, ton, pearl and ron tried sabang zip line. we went back to sabang wharf na that time and waited for them na lang. guto na din kasi kami.

at 5pm, we are now ready to leave Puerto princesa for El nido. :) it was 6 hours away from Puerto princesa. Sobrang nakakatakot kasi gabi, walang kasalubong, walang ibang dumadaan, sobrang dilim, mukang bangin yung katabi ng kalsada, tpos may 2hours na rough road. and when i say rough, tatalbog ka sa van dahil sa lalim ng lubak. as in. sobrang nakakapagod at hindi ka mkakatulog. BB was complaining all the time. ayaw kasi sana namin ng el nido kasi masyadong malayo daw ayon sa bali balita. we arrived at 12mn. we were effing hungry na kaya pinatos na namin yung tapsilog for P150.we took it out and ate at Casa El nido na lang. it'll be our home for 2 days and a night. ang ending, kami ni BB ang unang natulog. dumating sila na naghihilik na kami. hahaha.

2nd day, eto bumungad samin pag gising namin.

 After breakfast (complimetary), we immediately hopped on a boat and now ready to island hop!

the boat will stop at the lagoon entrance and you have to swim papasok. :) which is fun.

 Before we leave, sobrang sarap magswimming kaya I asked BB to stay in the water, tpos tumalon ako ulit para magswimming. 

 Next is Big Lagoon. kaso hindi daw kami Bababa, titignan lang daw.:)

When it comes to underwater experience, nothing beats Balicasag of Panglao Bohol, for now. Ang konti dito. I'm still wondering if matatalo sya ng Coron and puerto Galera. so ngayon alam mo na kung san susunod kong paglalayas? :)

And then we stopped at an island for lunch.

I deserve a star kasi i didnt cry kahit nga Nasira ang camera ko. I was actually lokking for 4 more, kasi el nido deserves 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! :) 6hours na byahe is totally sulit. and every red cent was worth it!

and then we are now headed back to Casa el nido. pinagod na namin sarili namin dito since last island na. :)

We arrived at casa el nido at around 4pm ata. we had dinned muna, ligo then we hopped on a van para makabalik na ng puerto princesa. it was again, a looooonnng trip. masalimuot ang 1st 2 hours but smooth na after then. syempre, inoccupy ko ang 3/4 ng upuan namin, nakahiga ako at nakaunan sa lap ni BB. in short, hindi nanaman sya nakatulog. Pagoda nanaman kami.


The next day, we were supposed to wake up at around 6am. pero mga tamagoci, bumangon kami ng 7. Our flight back to manila is at 2pm today. so half day lang kmi nkasched sa Honda Bay. Medyo inggitera much lang, we decided to but plane tix pang bukas. P2000 damage sa bulsa para lang maexperience ang Honda Bay ng whole day and Ka Lui's.


So before Honda Bay, we went o the aiport to buy our tickets.:)

then we stopped at Ken's snorkling gear rental. P150 since sterilized daw and gears nila. trtry ksi namin tawaran. DIVISORIA? hahaa

first stop was supposed to be LULI (lulubog-lilitaw) island. kaso high tide and ganito sya. sa pabgalik na lang daw.

1st stop, Pambato Reef. it was a project of ABS CBN daw. you'll know it's pambato kapag nasilayan mo na ang malaking Pagong! I was excited to see turtles kasi namiss ko yun sa Bohol. we were told not to bring anything na kapag nahulog at hindi na mahahabol kahit sisirin, wag ng dalin. and so it was just kris and pearl who brought their camera. kayo ng naka sony TX10? underwatercams baby! hahaha

wla naman msyadaong nakita sa Pambato reef. actually, we are a bit disappointed. so we left the place early. bawi na lang sa next island.



next isstar fish island. I gues it's one of BB's favorites. kasi he took a lot of pics, and sobrang nagandahan sya sa mangoves. 
Babala: be prepared. you might feel a bit nauseous sa abs ko. lol.

Lunch.

 

While everyone's busy fish feeding. kami tamang chikahan lang. and we had the chance to talk to kuya bankero. ang dami niya kwento. about tourists na maaarte, ayaw pahawak digicams nila, mga ayaw pahawak ng kamay para iguide nila sa snorkling. ang sabi na lang ni kuya, "ok lang, sila naman ang hindi nageenjoy." and FYI, lahat ng bankeros, alam gumamit ng digicams and SLR's. daig pa nga ako kung maka adjust ng lens. SO for those maarte's, wag kayo mag island hopping kung maarte kayo masyado.

we went back to  Duyan's transient house to prepare for Ka Lui's. my 25th birthday was a blast. I'm now thinking of doing this every year. 


Palawan is really something we should be proud of. sobrang ganda. Hindi nakakasawa.
